Liquid Filtration Materials
Recommended Material / Structure
PP/PET needle-punched filter cloth, meltblown filter-cartridge substrate, spunbond support layer, composite filter media, and hydrophilically modified PP filter cloth; select by water treatment, chemical, food & beverage, and other media.
Requirements
Material Performance Requirements
Stable pore size, retention efficiency, flux, chemical resistance, wet strength, differential-pressure resistance, and low extractables. Food-grade applications require attention to migration and hygiene safety.
Cost Control Requirements
Select PP, PET, PA, or composite structures by filtration accuracy and medium corrosiveness; use standardized pore-size/basis-weight systems to reduce sampling and inventory cost.
Environmental & Biodegradability Requirements
Options include mono-material PP/PET, recyclable filter-bag structures, and low-extractable additives; heavily contaminated liquid filtration requires compliant disposal of spent filter media.
Batch Delivery Requirements
Liquid filtration is sensitive to batch consistency; pore size, thickness, and basis weight must be stable. Delivery can be in rolls, sheets, or filter-bag blanks.
Custom Development Requirements
Customizable hydrophilic/hydrophobic treatment, heat setting, calendering, membrane lamination, gradient pore structure, color, width, thickness, and special chemical-resistance finishing.
Overseas Export & Certification Requirements
For export, consider food-contact, drinking-water, REACH/RoHS, and customer industry standards. Actual certification depends on the medium and end use.
Solution Advantages
Good strength and processing compatibility; gradient structures balance flux and retention; suitable for filter bags, cartridges, membrane supports, and other formats.
Technical Parameters & Selection Recommendations
Recommended basis weight: 50–500 gsm; width: 1.0–3.5 m. Key tests: filtration rating, flux, pressure drop, wet strength, acid/alkali resistance, and extractables.
