Fruit Tree Protection Fabric
Recommended Material / Structure
PP spunbond protective fabric, needle-punched insulation fabric, fruit-bag nonwoven composites, and insect net/nonwoven composites; can provide UV resistance, frost protection, bird/insect protection, and sunburn prevention.
Requirements
Material Performance Requirements
Breathability, light transmission, weather resistance, tear resistance, and softness that does not damage fruit surface. Insect/bird-protection applications require suitable pore size or cover strength.
Cost Control Requirements
Use lightweight spunbond for short-term sunburn/frost protection; use high-basis-weight UV-resistant materials for long-term orchard covers; optimize fruit bags by size and opening process.
Environmental & Biodegradability Requirements
Options include biodegradable fruit-bag fabric, fluorine-free water-repellent finishing, and recyclable PP; reduce field residues and plastic fragments.
Batch Delivery Requirements
Fruit-tree protection is strongly seasonal; stock should be prepared according to local harvesting and bagging windows; regional customer specifications can be supported.
Custom Development Requirements
Customizable color, light transmission, UV resistance, pore size, water resistance/insect prevention, bird-protection strength, fruit-bag size, printing, and ventilation windows.
Overseas Export & Certification Requirements
For export, consider agricultural materials, indirect food-contact risk, chemical limits, REACH, and customer fruit-certification requirements.
Solution Advantages
Lightweight, soft, and easy to install; reduces losses from sunburn, insects, and frost; can be customized by fruit species and regional climate.
Technical Parameters & Selection Recommendations
Recommended basis weight: 20–80 gsm; width: 1–6 m or pre-cut fruit-bag format. Key tests: light transmission, air permeability, weather resistance, softness, tear strength, and insect-protection effect.
